His career starts 1991 with revision society Revisuisse Price Waterhouse, where he was auditor until 1994. 1994/95 he works as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Raifinanz AG. Beginning 1995 he works for Swiss Re in the Controlling department. 1999 he becomes Director of the Group Controlling and member of the Executive Board Finance Division and leads various strategic projects. In 2004 he is designated Chief Financial Officers of Swiss Re (UK) in London, in this role he is in charge of implementing the New Regulation N4 of FSA and other capital optimization projects. In 2006 Philipp Hoch joins Banca Del Gottardo as Chief Financial Officer & Chief Risk Officer and is member of the Group Executive Board. Following the successful sale of the Bank in mid 2008 he is active as consultant until becoming Chief Financial Officer of Deutschen Bank (Suisse) AG in December 2010 and entering the management board of Deutsche Bank Group. After two successful years of managing the finance function and restructuring the Division Finance he decided to join ECOLEX as an Investor and consultant. Over the years he was active in various boards, including FC Zurich Betriebsgesellschaft.
